"Professional and Trustworthy" I purchased a high mileage vehicle for my daughter, and brought it into Nealey's for a state inspection. It failed miserably. As an engineer having years of experience as a weekend mechanic, I decided to do most of the work myself. The inspection report generated by the Nealey mechanics was spot on -- all of the items called out were indeed bad, and in need of replacing. The list was extensive--brakes, calipers, rear struts, ball joints, steering rack, cv joints, even the windscreen were all defective. Trust is such a big factor with auto shops since most people aren't willing to climb under their vehicle to inspect a part that a mechanic recommends replacing. Nealey also provided an online link to pictures of the defective parts taken during inspection. This is a service I've never seen before and it was impressive. But I also saw the defective parts first-hand when I removed them. Kenny, the Service Advisor was also extremely helpful during one of the re-inspections when we had a parts discrepancy. He worked overtime to help me research the issue which ultimately led to the correct repairs and a passed inspection. Oh, and the car was washed with polished wheels upon pick-up. Can you ask for more than that?
